The Chief Executive Officer, an ex-officio member of the Board, appointed in terms of section of the Mpumalanga Gambling Act, 1995, is responsible for the management of all operational, financial and administrative functions of the Mpumalanga Gambling Board. This includes advising and making recommendations to the Board on gambling related matters; submitting applications to the Board in respect of applications for licences; ensuring general compliance with the applicable legislative structures and enforcement of the law within the gambling industry and providing the assurance that principles of moral and social responsibility are adopted and maintained.
