The functions of the Communications Department are described below:

Corporate Relations

• To enhance the corporate identity of the MGB and promote its image;
• To disseminate information about the MGB to all stakeholders in Mpumalanga and other areas;
• To promote Responsible Gambling; and
• To promote Corporate Social Responsibility.

Information Technology

• To ensure effective and efficient IT framework/architecture to provide guidelines on information, systems and technology services;
• To ensure effective and efficient development and improvement of integrated information systems and databases; and
• To ensure continuous provision of general IT Support services.
